Explore Penang, the “Pearl of the Orient” from its sandy shores to quaint countryside. At the Batik factory, be introduced to the colourful and fascinating traditional handicraft of batik painting.
Along the way, get a first-hand introduction to the spices and local seasonal fruits. Visit a traditional Malay Village and enjoy the serenity that pervades the air.
At Balik Pulau, see famous food-stall operators known as hawkers Laksa, tangy noodles, fish-scented, heavenly broth served with a web of thick and juicy saury noodles.
Next proceed to Bukit Genting Hill Leisure Park for own lunch who has been operating for over 20 years and is hidden at the top of a durian hill. After lunch, adjourn down the new highway and visit the legendary Snake Temple, where Pit Vipers adorn the altars. On the way back, view Penang Bridge, one of the longest in the world.
